My recent stay at Sanbay Hotel in Penang was a mix of value and luxury. The spacious room, complete with a modern shower, provided a comfortable retreat after days filled with exploration. The friendly staff, though slightly challenged with English, were always eager to assist. While the complimentary breakfast was basic, the restaurant's lunch and dinner options were delightful. The free wifi in the lobby was a bonus for staying connected.On the value end, the hotel offers free parking, and the prompt room change service was greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the initial room had a lingering smoke smell, which was quickly rectified. For the budget-conscious traveler, the amenities provided, like 24-hour reception and luggage storage, make this hotel a practical choice. Sanbay Hotel strikes a balance between cost efficiency and comfortable lodging.
